Additional Fees                                    

Non-Refundable Registration Fees - $50 for the first student,

$15 each additional child (in same family).    Registration fees cover dance class activities August 5, 2019-July 31, 2020.                              

Non-Refundable Costume fees (due November 15th)- $90 ea/child sizes, $100 ea/adult sizes, $110 ea/plus sizes. Includes one pair of tights per costume. Payment plans available, but all costume fees must be paid by November 15th. A $20 late fee/per costume, must accompany all payments received after November 15th.

Non-Refundable Recital Fees (due March 31st)- $50 for the first dancer, $25 additional dancers (family max $100). Recital fees include 4 general seating tickets, and a program. A $20 late fee must accompany all payments received after March 31st.

POLICIES    

~Tuition is due the first day of each month. A $20 late fee must accompany all payments received after the 5th of the month. Withdrawals must be reported to the office one month in advance, or you will continue to be responsible for monthly tuition (this is the only way the school has of knowing that there is a space open for a new student in a class). 

~Payments can be made in cash, by check, or via PayPal, using "friends and family option". Please note student's name and payment details (tuition, costume, recital fee, etc.).

~Late fees will be charged for returned checks, in addition to bank fees.

~Tuition remains the same each month regardless of holidays, extra classes, or classes missed for inclement weather. The entire session is divided into 10 equal monthly payments.                                                                   

~No refunds or deductions in tuition rates will be made for absences regardless of the reason. When corresponding classes are available, classes may be “made-good”. However, the school is under no obligation to provide “make-good” classes for absences that are not the fault of the school.                                                                                                 

~It is studio policy to hold delivery of recital costumes for any student with a past due balance on their account. Statements will be sent before costumes are delivered.              ~Please have your child on time for class and be prompt in picking up your child at the end of class. Neither the school nor its staff can be responsible for students left beyond their class time. Prior arrangements must be made with the teacher if you expect to be late for pick-up. If you pick up your child late from the last class of the day, there will be a $15 charge after the first 10 minutes you are late and an additional $5 charge for each 10 minutes following. Payment is to be made to the teacher, at that time, for the time spent babysitting your child.

~No chewing gum, cough drops, or food are allowed in the class. Water must be in a spill-proof container.

~Female dancers should wear their hair in a bun (or pulled back from their face if their hair is too short for a bun) to every class unless otherwise directed by the teacher. Please see the dress code for proper attire.

~Parents are always welcome to express comments or concerns. However, to avoid delaying the start of another class, it may be best to request that the teacher or Ms.Kathy contact you at home. You can also leave notes in the payment box for any staff member. Be assured that if there is any reason a teacher needs to discuss your child’s progress, you will be contacted.

Sickness policy
~ Please notify the school if your dancer will be absent. When leaving a message, please give your dancer’s name, and class information.
~ Please do not send your child to dance class sick. If they are noticeably unwell, the teacher may remove your child from class.
~ Please do not treat a child with a fever with pain reliever and send them to dance. Fever indicates sickness and the pain reliever only temporarily helps the fever; it does not mean your child is not still contagious!
~ If you know your child, or their sibling, has a contagious illness (chickenpox, strep throat, flu, etc.) please do not expose the studio by bringing them to dance.

NEW Inclement Weather Policy:

•NGSD Will close for inclement weather when the need arises. You will be notified as quickly as possible, via text message.

• Closing will be posted on our Facebook page. Please follow us to be current with studio information.

• You will be notified about make up classes due to weather the week after a cancellation.

• If you ever arrive at the studio for a class, and the studio isn’t open, please send a text *immediately*.

 Dress Code

Pre-Ballet: light pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Hair in a bun.

Kinder-Ballet/Tap: Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Black tap shoes with elastic closure. Hair in a bun.

Mini Ballet/Tap: Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Black tap shoes with elastic closure. Hair in a bun.

​​

Petites Ballet/Tap: Light baby blue leotard, pink tights and pink b allet shoes. Black tap shoes with elastic closure. Hair in a bun.

​​

Junior Ballet:  Balera coral leotard, style MT7491N*, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes.

​

Senior Ballet: Balera gray leotard, any style*, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes.

​

Barre: Any color leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes. Hair in a bun. 

​​

​Jazz: Any color leotard, dance shorts or capris, black jazz shoes.

​

Tap: Any color leotard and tights, black tap shoes.

​

Musical Theater & Contemporary: Any color leotard and tights. Shoes determined by teacher. Hair pulled away from the face. 

​

Male Dancers: Plain white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes, tan jazz shoes, unless otherwise instructed by teacher. Long hair pulled away from the face.
